This song was inspired by Mel Robbins from her 5 second rule.  I was looking for an alarm that yelled, sang or spoke "5 4 3 2 1" and then this song was born.  Thank You Mel for all of your encouragement.  I still hit the snooze button several times before I get up in the morning, but hope to break this habit soon!!

Madeline Fredrick, better known as Midge, is a musician in heart and soul. Midge has performed for over 92,000 people in over sixty venues in the Orlando area, Pensacola and Cincinnati.  In 2008 she appeared in the Sanford Herold Newspaper for a St. Patty’s Day Serenade. 

She has a great love for music, has played guitar most of her life, and loves singing and dancing. In her 40’s is when her solo music life began.

Midge is a “One girl band” as she plays guitar, sings, and does what is best for the song by using a backtrack, drum machine, or sings A Capella with a tambourine.  She also specializes in holiday events, especially Christmas. She performs all types of songs from the ’40s to today, bringing youthfulness, vibrant, happy spirit to her music.  Midge loves to get the audience involved.  She honestly cares about people and wants to perform and make a difference in their day and life. Her goal is to bring sunshine and light to all.

Midge is also a songwriter, has written many original songs, and has an Album called “Life.”  Midge has begun writing Custom Songs, made to order for individuals, companies, or events. 

Midge would be a great asset to any event, large or small.  You will find her personable, reliable, vivacious, and versatile.

Midge performs at Sanford's Healthcare and Rehab facility for St. Patrick's Day singing her philosophy of live, laugh, love and dream!

What an amazing time performing for the clients.  Bringing fun, happiness, joy and music makes life feel complete.

When performing for clients I just look at them and love them with my eyes and make sure I connected with each and every one.  We would sing, dance, and laugh.  Even those were immobile would have fun as we wheel chair danced.

Madeline Fredrick, better known as Midge, is a musician in heart and soul. She always loved music from a very early age, humming "Pretty Women" by Roy Orbison in kindergarten, and first began playing guitar when she was twelve. Her dream was to be a star singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" by Peter, Paul, and Mary. She played violin for her high school orchestra for four years but longed to be out of the pit and performing on the stage.

As a young adult, Midge continued to improve songs but didn't have the drive, funds, or esteem to make it happen, but she was always singing and playing guitar for her three little daughters changing words of songs to make them fit her girls. "She was an itsy bitsy, teeny, weenie, big blue-eyed, and such a sweetie." Instead of the "Yellow Polka Dot bikini made famous by Brian Hyland.

When Midge was 47, she began performing solo wherever she could; along with excelling at her full-time job, she found her niche with the elderly. For over 14 years, she brought joy, happiness to hundreds of events, including weddings, home concerts, birthday parties, farmers markets, bars, coffee shops, city events, country clubs, children's events, as well as Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Adult Day Care Centers as well as bars, restaurants, private parties, coffee shops, farmers markets, city events, children's events, special needs center and more
